Nathan Richardson

Australia Editor

Nathan is a freelance journalist based in Sydney, Australia. He received a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Journalism, from Griffith University in 2008. He worked for two years from 2009 covering the Australian coal industry for Energy Publishing, before moving to London, UK, where he was employed from 2011-2016 as an editor for S&P Global Platts on European gas markets. He currently reports on a range of industries, including coal, iron ore, gas and LNG.

 

Dalga Khatinoglu

Analyst

Dalga is Natural Gas World's expert on Iran's energy sector and head of Trend Agency's Iran news service.

Ya'acov Zalel

Israel Correspondent 

Ya'acov has practiced journalism for 30 years, mainly as automotive correspondent for various Israeli media outlets like Ha'aretz daily. Lately I contribute op-ed articles to Globes business daily concerning natural gas and regional geo-politics. I was editor of a few professional and popular automotive periodicals, as well as websites. In the last few years, as Israelis showed interest in Electric Cars and natural gas was discovered off shore Israel I began to link more closely between transportation and energy, hence my interest in the energy industry. He holds an MA in automotive Journalism from Coventry University (UK).

Koen Mortelmans

 

Koen Mortelmans is a Belgium based freelance journalist, mainly writing about energy, environment, construction and science. He started writing for newspapers and magazines while studying for his university degrees in history, documentation & library sciences and philosophy. Later, he did some teaching and also spent some time in historical research projects, mainly about the Ancien Régime and the Belle Époque periods. He wrote several books about the history of sports and leisure. For Natural Gas World, he covers the Benelux.

Audrey Raj

 

Based in Singapore, Audrey is an experienced energy and business correspondent with over a decade of reporting experience. Specializing in commodities since 2012, Audrey follows global oil and gas developments closely, covering Asia-Pacific political, financial, and investment news, including technologies that impact the energy market. 

Her work spans across news media outlets in Singapore, Australia, and the US, where she has held senior editorial positions in PetroMin, The Courier Mail, Business New Australia, Asian Trade Press, and most recently Asian Oil & Gas, where she served as editor and associate publisher. 

Tim Daiss

 

Tim Daiss is an American journalist/analyst that has been based in Asia for the past 12 years, currently in Vietnam. He has worked for Platts, Forbes, Interfax and several UK and Singapore-based energy consultancies.

 
His analysis and news reports have been published and cited in media outlets in the US, Japan, China, the UK and Russia and have been translated into several languages in foreign print media and used in television news reports.
 
He holds a B.B.A. in Finance, and a M.A. He is also the author of three books.

Sophie Davies

 

Sophie Davies is a freelance journalist and editor based between London and Barcelona. She previously worked in London as a financial journalist at Thomson Reuters, S&P Global and Interfax, writing about commodities and infrastructure. She lived and worked in Latin America between 2013 and 2017, first in Argentina then in Brazil.

Linas Jegelevicius

Linas is a 44-year-old Lithuanian full-time editor of regional newspaper in western Lithuania and freelance journalist with an extensive journalistic experience. He contributes to a number of English publications, including Riga-based The Baltic Times, Prague-based bne.eu, NYC-based Renewable Energy World and others.

After working for Fleet Street Newspapers and independent radio in the UK, he has held editorial positions at South Africa's two business dailies, and for some years was host of the Classic Business drive-time evening show.

Omono Juliana Okonkwo is a correspondent for Natural Gas World. She is resident in Nigeria. A Graduate of Mass Communication and a Researcher, her writing interests revolve around Oil and Gas, Policy, Innovation, and Business.
